The “L” stance is called Niunja Sogi ㄴ자 서기. It is widely used in Taekwon-Do.
It is mainly used for blocks and quick movements.
With this stance, you can attack or block quickly and move easily.
How to perform the stance:
- The feet form an “L” on the ground.
- The distance between the feet is about one and a half shoulder widths.
- The front foot faces forward.
- The back foot is turned to the side.
- Most of your body weight is on the back leg.
- The back leg is bent.
- The front leg is slightly bent.
