Charyot Sogi

Charyot Sogi (차렷 서기) is the posture adopted before bowing (Kyong-rye – 경례).
It is important to remain focused and silent in this position and to put down any objects you are holding (such as a shield pad or a kick paddle).
Stance rules :
- The feet form an angle of approximately 45°.
- The arms fall naturally, with the elbows slightly bent.
- The fists are clenched.
- The gaze is directed straight ahead, toward the person.
